Travelling with children: child seats and chauffeur transfers

Travelling with children is easier when the car, the seat and the timing are all sorted in advance. Here is what to tell us and what to expect.

Ask for a child seat when you book

Tick the child seat option on the booking form, and tell us the ages of the children so the right seat is fitted before the car leaves the depot. A child seat is added at a flat rate per booking, and installing it correctly is part of the service.

Choose the vehicle for the whole family

A family with young children also has prams, bags and sometimes a travel cot. A Luxury SUV takes up to 5 passengers and 4 large suitcases. An Executive Van takes up to 7 passengers and 6 large suitcases, which suits larger families.

Airport trips with children

Add the flight number so the pickup follows your landing, and allow for the time it takes to clear immigration and collect bags. A waiting allowance is built into airport bookings, including a longer one after an international landing, so there is no rush.

Make the trip easier

  • Tell us how many children and their ages.
  • Say if you need a seat for a baby or a booster for an older child.
  • Mention a pram or travel cot so we choose a vehicle with enough room.
  • Keep snacks and a favourite toy within reach.
